Ship Red Beard

Not only Pirate Black Beard, but also his competitor Pirate Red Beard was a threat to merchant ships in the Middle Ages. This game set expresses the sinking ship of the menacing pirate Red Beard, who for years has made life worse for traders of Oriental goods. In front of the ship there is a menacing hole in which children can see and recognize the bowels of a pirate ship. The atmosphere is completed by three wooden palms with leaves (also wooden!), a parrot sitting on a mast, a rudder and (as otherwise) a cannon. All wooden elements are made of durable sap-wood free robinia (black locust) wood. Of course, on the mast there must be a pirate flag – or can you imagine a pirate ship without a proper pirate flag?

This product is custom-made. It will be entered into production only after it has been ordered and paid. When ordering the product, it is necessary to expect a delivery time of 4 – 6 weeks.

Robinia wood (black locust) is harder than oak wood and is also more weather-resistant. Unlike cheap spruce wood, sap-wood free robinia wood does not produce chips and holds up to 10 times longer in exterior. Based on many years of experience with robinia wood, we use only high quality stainless steel fasteners for joining.
This prevents the rust from leaking out of the joints after a few years or the joint breaking, which can easily happen when using “only” galvanized or galvanized fasteners. From our experience we know that non-stainless steel fasteners will not last long in robinia wood.
